The Provincial Engagement Strategy (PES) main focus is to significantly contribute to the over-all effort of alleviating poverty through ecologically sound projects that addresses coastal resource management and the preservation of the Lake Mainit Ecosystem. The effort will be guided by economically sustainable, gender responsive and people-driven projects. Collaboration between the Local Government Units and Line Agency working together with Civil Society Organizations will be the distinguishing mark of this strategy.
